ENTRE RIOS

I give you what I believe was the LAST VICTORY SHIP to visit the Middlesbrough Dock for commercial purposes. The CLEOPATRA was a later visitor to the Tees; but for repair following a boiler explosion.


The ENTRE RIOS in Middlesbrough Dock on 10 July 1973 - yet another of my favourite photos; simply because of the nostalgia connected with this particular visit.

CAREER DETAILS

ENTRE RIOS: 7604gt, completed at Baltimore in 1945 as the ROCK HILL VICTORY; 1947 sold and renamed ENTRE RIOS (Argentine); 7.10.1974 laid up in Buenos Aires; June 1978 arrived at Campana to be broken up.
