Career details noted for these vessels have been extracted from my personal records compiled from Lloyd's Register of Ships and Marine News (journal of the World Ship Society). Additional information has been obtained from various books in my personal library.
No. 1: AYUTHIA

AYUTHIA in Middlesbrough Dock on 12 June 1975
AYUTHIA: 10,083gt; 15.1.1960: launched by A/S Nakskov Skibsvaerft, Naksov, yard no. 156; 5.1960: completed as AYUTHIA for A/S Det Ostasiatiske Kompagni, Copenhagen, Denmark; 1978: sold to Esplanade Maritime Inc., Greece, but not immediately renamed; 1981: renamed TORM JESSIE by these owners (photographic sources indicate name change actually occurred during 1980); 1.1983: sold to Akbarali & Sons for demolition at Darukhana, Bombay.
No. 2: JALADUHITA

JALADUHITA: 8,853gt. 24.11.1957: launched by Cant. Nav. Breda, Venice, yard no. 205. 1958: completed as LUCIE for Soc. de Nav. Magliveras, Libera, and registered under the Panama flag. 1959: sold to Scindia Steam Nav. Co. Ltd., India and renamed JALADUHITA. 23.2.1979: arrived at Bombay for demolition.
No. 3: KOHISTAN

KOHISTAN: 9,665gt. 11.7.1960: launched by J. Readhead & Sons Ltd., South Shields, yard no. 605. 11.1960: completed as KOHISTAN for Strick Line Ltd., London. 19.4.1973: ownership transferred to P&O Steam Nav. Co. 21.2.1975: renamed STRATHASLAK. 6.6.1978: sold to Hibiscus Shipping Corp., Greece and renamed QUINCY. 19.1.1983: arrived at Gadani Beach, Pakistan having been sold for demolition to Five Star Shipping Co. Ltd., Pakistan.
No. 4: FAVORITA

As the FALCONDALE she was seen at the Potash Terminal, Tees Dock on 15 September 1975.
FAVORITA: 10,858gt. 20.11.1958: launched by Oresundsvarvet A/B, Landskrona, yard no. 161. 2.1959: completed as FAVORITA for A/S Uglands Rederi, Norway. 1973: sold to Short Trade Bulk Carriers Corp., Liberia and renamed FALCONDALE. 1976: sold to Atlantic Minerals Transport Corp., Liberia and renamed AMAX MINER. 1980: sold to Dimona Shipping Corp., Panama and renamed MARTHA L. 1983: broken up.
No. 5: CITY OF YORK

CITY OF YORK: 13,345gt 30.3.1953: launched by Vickers-Armstrongs Ltd., Newcastle, yard no. 122. 10.1953: completed as CITY OF YORK for Ellerman Lines Ltd., London. 1971: sold to Pandiestra Oceanica Nav. S.A., Greece, and renamed MEDITERRANEAN SKY. 1974: converted from passenger/general cargo to passenger/roro cargo/ferry vessel. 1999: recorded as laid up, surveys overdue 4/1998. (Has she since been broken up? .... and someone did tell me?)
No. 6: SIREFJELL

SIREFJELL: 8,589gt. 6.1936: completed by Eriksbergs M/V A/B - Goteborg as KOLLGRIM for O. Berg, Norway. 1939: sold and renamed PICARDIE for Ministere de la Marine Marchande (Government of France). Operated in the fleet of Societe Francaise De Transports Petroliers (SFTP). 1.2.1940: struck a submerged object and broke in two. The forepart sank, but the afterpart was towed to Oran, later to be badly damaged by gunfire. 1949: stern section purchased by A/S Falkefjell, Norway, from French Government, new fore part built at Kiel, rebuilt and renamed SIREFJELL. 12.1955: converted from tanker to ore carrier at Spezia. 2.10.1961: arrived at Hirao, Japan, for demolition, having initially been sold to Bermudan buyers.
No. 7: DONGOLA

A very poor copy print of the DONGOLA - but better than none at all?!
DONGOLA: 7,371gt. 12.4.1946: launched
by West Coast Shipbuilders Ltd., Vancouver, B.C., Canada, yard
no. 153, as the Admiralty maintenance ship ORFORDNESS. 10.1946:
completed as RABAUL for Rabaul Steamship Ltd., (W.R. Carpenter
(Canada) Ltd.). 29.12.1947: sold to P&O Steam Nav. Co.,
London, and renamed DONGOLA. 8.5.1961: sold to Surrendra
(Overseas) Private Ltd., India and renamed APJ ASHWINI. 2.1965:
sold to local shipbreakers, Aleid and Co., after being laid up at
Bombay since 8.1964.

No. 8: TRIBESMAN

TRIBESMAN: 7,083gt. 29.10.1944: launched by Shipbuilding Corp. Ltd., Sunderland, yard no. 5. 12.1944: completed as EMPIRE MANDALAY for Ministry of War Transport. 1946: purchased by Charente S.S. Co. Ltd., Liverpool (T.& J. Harrison Ltd.) and renamed TRIBESMAN. 1961: sold to Margalante Cia. Nav., Lebanon and renamed DELTA. 12.1961: scrapped at Hong Kong.
No. 9: MAKRANA

MAKRANA: 8,767gt. 27.8.1957: launched by Wm. Hamilton & Co. Ltd., Port Glasgow, yard no. 515. 11.1957: completed as MAKRANA for Thos. & Jno. Brocklebank, Liverpool. 1968: ownership transferred to Cunard S.S. Co. Ltd. 1971: sold for about £250,000 to Destino Nav. S.A., Greece and renamed AEGIS GLORY. 1971: sold to First Freighter Co. Ltd., Cyprus and renamed AEGIS ETERNITY. 4.1974: damaged by stranding. 23..4.1974: left Singapore Roads having been sold for demolition to Chinese mainland shipbreakers and delivered at Shanghai during 6.1974.
No. 10: AFRICAN PRINCE

AFRICAN PRINCE: 4,653gt. 31.7.1939: launched by Furness S.B. Co. Ltd., Haverton Hill (on Tees), yard no. 307. 9.1939: completed as AFRICAN PRINCE for Prince Line Ltd., London. 1961: sold to Mullion & Co. Ltd., Hong Kong and renamed ARDMORE. 12.1965: sold to Craft Shipping Co. Ltd., Gibraltar for £122,000 and renamed KALI ELPIS. 8.1966: engine trouble at Djibouti, no repair facilities, seized 14.10.66 pending payment; released 22.10.66 and left 27.10.66 for Aden under tow of SVITZER. 28.3.1967: arrived Bombay and laid up. 5.1969: sold by public auction to Steel Corporation of India Ltd., for demolition at Bombay; commenced 9.69.
No. 11: ORMSARY

ORMSARY: 6,859gt 1.1953: completed by Lithgows Ltd., Port Glasgow, as ORMSARY for Scottish Ore Carriers Ltd. [J. & J. Denholm (Management) Ltd.] 3.11.1969: arrived at Bilbao to be broken up by Hierros Ardes.
