TEESSIDE SHIP SOCIETY MEETINGS:

Visitors and prospective members always welcome.
All meetings commence at 7.00 pm unless stated otherwise in the Society programme.

Newport Settlement Youth & Community Centre, St Pauls Road (entrance from Union Street), MIDDLESBROUGH; on the third Wednesday of most months.

Indoor Bowling Club, Raby Road, HARTLEPOOL; occasional meetings as announced in the Society programme.

SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR 2009 (for the full year): {including four issues of TSS Journal Tees Packet each year} {World Ship Society members also receive the WSS monthly journal 'Marine News'.}

World Ship Society/Teesside Ship Society - £37.00 plus £5.50 TSS Subscription per annum;

Teesside Ship Society Associate Member - £9.00 Subscription per annum;
(Associate joint membership for two people requiring only one copy of
Tees Packet - £12.00)

Company Corporate Member - £12.00 Subscription per annum;

'Tees Packet' Subscriber - £10.00 per annum

All subscriptions to be made payable to TEESSIDE BRANCH OF THE WORLD SHIP SOCIETY and sent only to the Treasurer; address below. (Please do not send direct to WSS)

If you wish to join the World Ship Society and live within the Teesside Branch area - roughly from Scarborough in the south; the Richmond and Darlington areas, to just beyond Hartlepool to the north, there is a benefit to the Branch if you join/renew through them. Therefore, such subscriptions to be made payable to TEESSIDE BRANCH OF THE WORLD SHIP SOCIETY [ideally, also including the local Branch subscription, so a total of £42.50] and sent only to the Treasurer; address below. The Teesside Ship Society was formed in 1956; became a Branch of the World Ship Society in 1971, and currently has just over 70 members in the Branch area - roughly from Scarborough in the south; the Richmond and Darlington areas, to just beyond Hartlepool to the north. In addition, there are about 20 subscribers to TEES PACKET from elsewhere in the U.K. and overseas.
