Went down to Peterborough on Boxing Day to see family and, of course, armed
with new camera took several photos of our grandson. On the way back, time to
see if I could use it to take ship pics!! A dark and dreary day, unfortunately.

The above views were, relatively, the "successes" from efforts at digital photography. Most people do not show their "failures" - but I do!!
On the next page you will see that I still need some practice at standing on windy riverbanks, or on bridges, or looking across a dock in faded (not fading!) light to obtain reasonable images. Practice in holding the camera steady without letting it slip downwards as I press the shutter! Of course, I'm sure it's a lot easier in midsummer? Plenty of room on my memory card to keep practicing!
