Union International Co. Ltd. (Blue Star Line Ltd. - manager), London, 13181gt, completed Glasgow 3-1948. 1971 broken up, arriving at Kaohsiung on 17.9.1971.
The IMPERIAL STAR remains in my memory as the first vessel I observed underway entering Middlesbrough Dock. She only just seemed to scrape in with about a foot to spare between her hull and the side of the lock. That was as ship sighting no. 19 on 3 December 1960.
