TEESSHIPS
A FAVOURITE SHIP

CLAUS BISCHOFF

My ship sighting no. 16 in the River Tees off Middlesbrough Dock on 3 December 1960.

It was with great interest and excitement that I spotted the following shot from the Richard Cox collection on George Robinson's RIVERSEA INTERNATIONAL a few months ago, as I could not recall seeing any view of this ship previously. Heightened because she'd been built not far away at West Hartlepool.

CLAUS BISCHOFF: Germany, 4332gt, completed Wm. Gray, West Hartlepool, 3-1937, ex St. Cergue-51, ex Felldene-39. 1962 broken up.

She is extensively featured and pictured at: http://www.swiss-ships.ch/schiffe/st-cergue_005/fr_st-cergue_005.htm
