25.7.02: No sooner do I decide to give some pages a rest than I find something to update one of them! So, of course, I was doing a modicum of sorting out when I found the following print by John Clarkson taken in Middlesbrough Dock:

In the background is another of my favourites, the MAIHAR, and the bow of one the East Asiatic motorships.

Well, this was identified as being No. 4 from a diminutive image on the original negative. She is shown here attending a launch from the Furness shipyard at Haverton Hill.
